I’ll admit it. I’ve really been struggling with this self-care thing. Frankly. I’m terrible at it.
I’m totally a people pleaser, and a driven solopreneur. which means that I love doing things for others, including in my business, which leaves me with little left for myself.
And I’ll be honest, the cracks are starting to show.
I’ve tried all the things…like going for a pedicure, a long walk by myself, or taking a bath. I’ll admit, I do enjoy when I get to have a Sunday afternoon nap, or just sit and read my book. I even spent most of yesterday in bed, just to rest!
All of these are good things, but I know they only scratch the surface of truly caring for myself. I know there’s more to it.
