It’s Day 4 of our 12 Days Of Leadership! Today’s leadership gift, is the gift of integrity.

Integrity is one of the most important leadership principles. It’s belief in treating people the way they deserve to be treated, and do the right thing even when nobody is watching.

Having integrity also includes being honest, trustworthy and reliable. These are key traits, whether you are leading yourself, leading in your life, your community, or your business.

Employees consistently tell us in engagement surveys, that having a leader with integrity is truly one of the most important reasons that they love where they work. And it’s also one of the biggest reasons they leave.

Leaders with integrity act in accordance with their words, they literally practice what they preach. They own up to their mistakes. They take accountability for their actions, and they treat others with the respect and the dignity that everyone deserves.
